Oxygen therapy
20 min.
10 €

Have you ever considered that headaches and fatigue could be the result of an oxygen deficiency? This issue is especially important for city dwellers because opening a window to allow more air into your living space is not enough, especially since city air is often polluted with particulate matter and CO2 during the cold season. The lower the concentration of oxygen in the air, the harder it is for the body to function. Oxygen therapy can help fill in the gaps and maintain your health and wellness. Oxygenated air works wonders as a natural remedy for fatigue, headaches, insomnia, and even depression.

Moreover, oxygen therapy before or after exercise is energising, reduces muscle pain, and improves the metabolism.

Oxygen is also a natural remedy for slowing down the skin's aging process: breathing in oxygen neutralises free radicals and promotes the regeneration of the epidermis, resulting in a noticeable improvement in the skin’s condition.

6 €

Elektrostimuliacijos poveikis:

  • gerina medžiagų apykaitą, turi masažuojamąjį poveikį;
  • stiprina, stangrina raumenis, gerina jų tonusą, formuoja raumeninį kontūrą;
  • padeda mažinti svorį, bei grakštinti kūno linijas.
Ultrasound therapy

Taikoma esant:

  • degeneraciniams ir distrofiniams sąnarių ir stuburo pakitimams;
  • periferinės nervų sistemos ligoms ir traumoms;
  • sulėtėjusiai kaulų konsolidacijai po lūžių;

Daylight therapy
15 min.
10 €

We often wonder why we feel tired or drained in the fall and winter, even during the day, and why our appetites and cravings for carbohydrates increase, leading to weight gain. These are symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Symptoms of this condition most likely occur due to chronobiological mechanisms related to circadian rhythm, metabolism of the sleep hormones melatonin and serotonin, and photoperiodism (ratio of dark and light times of day).

Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland, which regulates sleep, slows metabolism, and suppresses thyroid function. When sunlight enters the retina, melatonin production in the brain stops, which also slows down the aforementioned processes. However, what can we do when there isn’t much sunlight in Lithuania? The answer is light therapy that mimics natural daylight.

The medical light source used in light therapy has an ultraviolet filter system that produces more than 10,000 lux of light. According to scientists, when this type of light is detected by the retinal photoreceptors, it causes chemical changes in the brain, improving mood and easing the symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder.

This therapy is also great after travelling to a different time zone (jet lag). It’s worth noting that this therapy is recommended during the first waking hours in the morning and is not recommended for evenings, because stopping the production of melatonin can make it difficult to fall asleep.
